Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District

CPR Classes - The Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District provides classes in CPR on a regular basis through the American Heart Association. In this class students learn how to recognize the signs of a cardiac emergency, and how to sustain life with Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation until emergency medical help can arrive. This is a skill anyone in the community can learn. To find out more about the Districts CPR Training Program or to register for a class call (760) 765-1510.

In addition to emergency response the District provides Station Tours, School Visits, Open House and Brush Clearance and Weed Abatement Programs.

Station Tours – The District requests when ever possible that Station Tours be scheduled at least two weeks in advance although drop in tours or visits are not discouraged. Tours can be scheduled at both of the Districts stations by calling (760) 765-1510.

School Visits – The Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District personnel and equipment frequently visit local schools to pass on fire safety training for the children of our community. The District request that school visits be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. School visits can be scheduled by calling (760) 765-1510.

Open House October is Fire Prevention Month. The Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District promotes Fire Safety Month by holding an Open House at both of its fire stations. Each station provides a different and unique opportunity to learn about fire safety and the services that are provided by the Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District . The best part of the Open House is that the firefighters get to meet the citizens they protect and visa versa. To determine the date of the next open house please call (760) 765-1510.
